Nothing beats the crackling ambiance of a wood wick but they can be finicky! Here are some tips to resolve wicks that won't stay lit or have low flames.

Does your wick light only to fizzle out? Try trimming the wick again, only removing the crumbly black bits at the top. Then relight. As the wick drinks up the wax, a stable flame should appear!

Is your wick too short and drowning in wax? Try this: blow out the wick, take a small piece of paper towel and dip it into the melted wax for 10 seconds. It will soak up some excess wax and make it easier to relight your candle. Discard the paper towel and relight the candle.

Yes! Our glass vessels and canister tins are reusable.

The wick may be too tall. Blow out the candle, allow to cool, trim the wick (do not over-trim, a little goes a long way) and relight.

Your candle has been crafted to deliver a strong scent. If the scent is weak, it may be because you are burning it in a large room, running an air purifier or an air exchanger. Hot air rises so homes with cathedral ceilings or burning a candle at the base of a staircase can also result in the scent rising.
